Ameinu vehemently condemns the recent spate of antisemitic violence that erupted around the United States and the world following the escalation of hostilities between Israel and Hamas. The attacks on Jews, whether physical, in the form of harassment and threats, or on social media, have no place in the civilized world and do nothing to advance the Palestinian cause. Regardless of one’s view on a particular action taken by Israel, responding by assaulting Jews physically or verbally is unequivocally antisemitic and must be called out as such.
As seekers of justice, peace, and security for Israelis, Palestinians, and for all people, Ameinu proclaims loudly and in one voice that antisemitism must never be tolerated.
