Ameinu has some exciting news: our activism in the demonstrations in Israel and the United States has proven again that marching, singing, chanting and carrying signs makes a difference. So for the first time in over a decade, Ameinu will participate in the “Celebrating Israel Parade” in New York on Sunday, June 4th.
Wearing Ameinu t-shirts that say “Zionism Equals Democracy” (in Hebrew) on the front and “Marching for Democracy” on the back, we will remind other participants and those watching the parade that we are marching in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Israel and around the world who are fighting for the future of the State.
We know that we represent the majority of American Jewry, so it is time to rejoin this major event that has become a NY Jewish institution. It takes place on 5th Avenue in Manhattan every spring with tens of thousands of marchers and many more watching along the route.
